We’re bringing something brand new to the Clementine Carter Wines Tasting Room in Los Alamos:

Whether you've watched friends play and wondered what on earth all those beautiful tiles mean, have always wanted to learn, or simply love the idea of discovering something new over a glass of wine — we're putting together our first private beginner Mahjong class.
And we're keeping it small.

Our inaugural group will learn from Kiki Wells, a longtime American Mahjong teacher, in a relaxed, intimate setting designed specifically for beginners.
No experience necessary.
No need to know a Bam from a Dot. 😉

Your private beginner series includes:
🀄 6 two-hour lessons
📅 Classes twice a week
🕔 Evening sessions beginning at 5:00 PM
👩🏫 Taught by longtime American Mahjong teacher Kiki Wells
🍷 Hosted at the Clementine Carter Wines Tasting Room in Los Alamos
👥 Limited to just 8 participants
Over six lessons, you'll begin learning the tiles, terminology, rules, strategy, and rhythm of American Mahjong — with plenty of time to practice, ask questions, and get comfortable around the table.
Because Mahjong isn't just a game.
It's strategy. It's tradition. It's a little bit addictive. And perhaps best of all, it's an excuse to gather around a table with other people. 🀄❤️
