The Beauty And The Bounty
A Living Anthology of Santa Barbara Wine Country
A is for Albariño
An Educational Tasting Exploring One of Santa Barbara County’s Most Vibrant Coastal Grape Varieties
Join us for the inaugural grape variety tasting in The Beauty And The Bounty, a new educational and storytelling series celebrating the vineyards, winemakers, growers, and agricultural identity of Santa Barbara County wine country.
Our first featured grape variety is Albariño — a bright, coastal white grape known for its lively acidity, citrus-driven freshness, and remarkable compatibility with food.
Guests will experience a side-by-side tasting featuring Santa Barbara County producers crafting distinctive expressions of Albariño across the region’s diverse vineyard sites and micro-climates.
The evening will include:
• educational exploration of the Albariño grape variety
• producer and vineyard storytelling
• discussions surrounding Santa Barbara County growing conditions
• curated pairings from Babi’s Kafana
• opportunities to meet participating winemakers and industry guests
This gathering marks the beginning of an ongoing A–Z exploration of Santa Barbara County grape varieties through education, hospitality, and regional storytelling.
